Competition Rules
There are some simple rules to follow, to ensure you'll get the best
score:
- videos should be short. 2-3 minutes is best as most
Youtubers don't watch anything longer.
- videos
should be tagged with relevant words. e.g. weight loss, fat burn,
health, fitness, zna. Optionally add more tags related to your
particular video.
- videos should have a title and description which draws
viewers in, using many of the above keywords.
- you can enter as many videos as you like. Try different
styles to give yourself more of a chance to win.
- please make use of any of the success stories and pictures
on our web site. Anything that helps makes your video more convincing.
- videos should finish with a final screen encouraging
the viewer to visit Zna's web site.
Here is an example video
you can download and use, although you can create your own if you like.
e.g. for originality or to promote your own affiliate link. If you're
not yet an affiliate and would like to make some money sharing Zna's
programs with the world, then please visit the Affiliate Center towards the
bottom of the menu on the left.
- videos should be posted onto Youtube once completed as
follows:
- upload your video to Youtube, creating a new account if
you don't already have one.
- click the Add
Videos link.
- tell your friends on Youtube, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter
and elsewhere to add your video to their Favorites and post a comment
and rating. If they like your video, then it could go viral and you'll
have a great chance of winning the competition.
- no personal attacks, profanity, or violence permitted.
Videos breaking these rules will be disqualified.
- no copyright infringement please. Use photos and videos and
music from the public domain. There's a great collection in the links
below.
- by your participation in this competition, you are granting
us the right to use, publish, edit, adapt, and/or modify your video for
promotional or other purposes.
There
are many different styles you could consider using for your video. Here
are a few ideas to get your creative juices running:
- original

How to Create a Successful
Youtube Video
There are some
wonderful articles on creating good videos for Youtube. Here
are a few to get you started:
Software to Use
With the fall in prices of video
cameras these days, there's never been a
better time to create videos. You can even use a webcam or cell phone,
although the quality isn't as good as it could be.
There are plenty of free programs to edit video on computers, one of
the easiest being Windows Movie Maker for PCs. It might not be the best
program out there, but for creating simple videos with basic effects,
titles, credits, transitions, etc, it's a great option. If you're
running Windows XP or later, it's already on your computer.
If you're using a Mac, then
iMovie
comes free on your machine. It's another very good
basic choice which offers more than enough to do the trick for this
competition.
If you find any really useful programs for making your video, or
particularly helpful articles, then please post a quick note on our
Youtube
group so that others can benefit.
Best
of luck in producing your video, and enjoy the process, no matter what
you win in the competition!
If you don't want to make
a video ...
Then you can be a judge for our competition! We're offering one month
of training as a prize for the most active judge of various videos
submitted to us. Just join the group as above, and add ratings and
favorites, and leave comments on as many entries as you can.
Please do keep them constructive, even if the current video isn't your
favorite. People are putting their hearts and souls into this, and
taking a risk by displaying their work in public, so please be gentle
with them.
Thanks very much!
